UEW SIGNS MOU WITH VATEBRA LIMITED

The University of Education, Winneba signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Fleet Technologies at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office on Wednesday 6th April, 2016 to assist in the automation of verification of student results from West African Examination Council (WAEC). Introducing the delegation, the Deputy Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs, Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete-Mensah noted that the signing of the agreement was informed by the Division’s quest to improve upon the Admissions Process currently in place. She observed that a thorough search carried out revealed that Fleet Technologies could assist in that direction. The Country Director of Fleet Technologies, Mr. Justice Odei Som, assured management of good service. He mentioned a number of institutions in Ghana, including WAEC, some Colleges of Education and the University of Cape Coast using their services. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mawutor Avoke in a brief statement expressed his appreciation to the organisation for their readiness to assist the University in improving services in the handling of the Admissions Process. Signing on behalf of UEW was the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar, Dr. C.Y. Akwaa-Mensah.
